Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 July 2026

This policy explains how SteamPageFix, operated independently by Maksim Iljin in Estonia, handles personal data submitted through the website and during service delivery.

Data controller

The controller of personal data is Maksim Iljin, who operates SteamPageFix independently in Estonia. For privacy questions or requests, email steampagefix@gmail.com.

Information we collect

We collect the information you submit through the inquiry form or by email: name, email address, game title, page status, launch stage, selected service, Steam page or draft-material link, the help requested, and optional notes. We may also receive basic technical information needed to operate and secure the site, such as IP address, request time, browser information, and anti-spam verification results. The site has no customer accounts and does not maintain a marketing-profile database.

Purposes and legal bases

Inquiry data is used to assess fit, recommend a service, prepare a quote, and respond to your request. This processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. If you proceed, project information is processed to perform the agreed service and manage the client relationship. Limited technical logs and anti-abuse signals are processed for the legitimate interest of protecting the website, inbox, and service from spam, fraud, and misuse. Invoice and accounting information is retained where required by law.

Recipients and service providers

Data is available only to SteamPageFix and service providers needed to operate the site and deliver the service. These may include the hosting provider, Google/Gmail for email delivery and storage, Cloudflare when Turnstile bot verification is enabled, and a private backup webhook endpoint if configured. Providers process data under their own terms and data-processing safeguards. SteamPageFix does not sell, rent, or trade personal data.

International transfers

Some providers, including Google and Cloudflare, may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, the provider is expected to rely on an applicable adequacy decision, contractual safeguards, or another lawful transfer mechanism. You may ask for more information about the providers used for your inquiry.

How long we keep information

Unsuccessful or inactive inquiries are normally kept for up to 12 months so we can answer follow-up questions and prevent repeated abuse. Project correspondence and working materials are normally kept for up to 24 months after delivery unless a longer period is reasonably needed for support, a dispute, or your request. Invoices and accounting records are kept for the statutory period required by Estonian law. Data may be deleted earlier when it is no longer needed.

Form delivery and security

Form submissions are sent through a server-side endpoint to the SteamPageFix inbox. The form uses shared client/server validation, request-size limits, a honeypot, rate limiting, and—when configured—Cloudflare Turnstile. Reasonable technical measures are used to reduce unauthorized access, but no internet transmission or email system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Cookies and analytics

SteamPageFix does not intentionally set advertising or optional analytics cookies. The hosting provider may create essential technical logs needed to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare Turnstile may process technical signals only when the anti-bot feature is enabled on the contact form.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a portable copy where relevant. You may also ask how your information is being used. Email steampagefix@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. There is no automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

Complaints

You may lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon) or another competent supervisory authority. The Inspectorate can be contacted at info@aki.ee, Tatari 39, 10134 Tallinn, Estonia, or through aki.ee.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the service, providers, or legal requirements change. The current version and update date will remain available on this page.
